I met Alison many years ago at Manchester University. We were both part of the Ecumenical Society and worked together on the kids playscheme and kids holiday. Although I have not seen Alison for many years, it does not seem that long ago. I am thankful to our friend Suzie who shared the site with me, giving me the privilege of being able to watch Alison's funeral and celebrate her life from afar (Squamish, BC, Canada). I wish to send my deepest condolences to her partner, Chris, her family, and her friends. Alison was a very special person. The essence of Alison remains vivid in the stories and thoughts that were shared during the service. She was caring, calm, and thoughtful, and I am deeply sorry she is no longer with us. I will cherish my memories of Alison always.

Alison was always so kind and supportive even though I didn’t get to know her until her last years she had a way of becoming your best friend instantly.
